No more jury duty

If you read my previous blog was selected for a medical malpractice trial that was estimated to last for 3 weeks.

After a stressful week of canceling and rescheduling all my appointments for the next three weeks, I got excused from the trial after writing a letter to the judge that it would be a major hardship for my practice to be down a doctor for a week. Especially considering there is another doctor on vacation for a week and a part time doctor just quit. Anyways it worked and I'm off the trial. I think it would have been interesting to be on a case, but maybe one that would be less than a week.
