First of all thank you to everyone for their kind words about my mom and the donations to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. My training is going well only a week and a half left!! Through all my training I have decided that I definitely want to a run a full marathon at some point in my life.
Last night as I was searching the web for marathons across the US and I discovered that Disney World has a marathon. The route starts in Epcot goes through the various parks, down Main Street USA and even through the Cinderella castle with entertainment the entire way. I can't think of a better marathon to run. Now it may be years before I actually do it, but I think I have convinced my dad and John to run it with me...any more takers?
I assume I can already count on Matt signing up Baikal and Lil' man. And I willing to bet that Green Shutters Inn will be accepting reservations.

WOW! a full marathon...I am going to have to pass up on that offer but I will be happy to cheer you on. In fact, my parents and i participated in the Race for the cure this past Sunday. It was great but kind of embarrassing. My parents ran the 5K while I walked the mile. But I just assume that i should start out slow and work my way up. Good Luck in your future runnings!

I've heard the disney marathon is great. I believe the set off fireworks at the beginning and the whole thing is flat. I may be interested in joining you, but I don't know if I have the time to train for a whole marathon again.
