In Loving Memory

One year ago today began a celebration, a celebration of the incredbile life of Peggy Rybolt.

Grandmother loved her family and we certainly loved her. She brought joy to people every day with jokes and laughter. Our family is what it is because of the joy that she shared, from the jokes she passed down to the tennis skills of which we all received a portion.

I am enjoying getting to put these skills to use here at Maryville College. I have shared many jokes with friends and have even learned some new ones. I am also playing on the varsity tennis team here. We have been practicing just two weeks and my first match is Feb. 10.

We have had a lot of snow here too. Okay, we had the amount of snow that a Tennesseean considers a lot.

Well, it was enough to go sledding and to build a snow man (okay, not build, but draw)

Since all of you reading this blog have been through college, I am sure you realize the indecisiveness of college students, so I will give you my update of what might could possibly be my plans: As of now, I am going to major in Biochemistry (Pre-med) and minor in Spanish. I hope to continue to be involved in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Mountain Challenge Girls, and the tennis team at Maryville College.

Hope you all have a great week! Love, Karen
