As many of you know, I have a passion for a particular girls' home in Honduras. Eternal Family Project is the name of the organization that I have had the privilege of volunteering with twice now (Megan also went with me this past summer).Eternal Family Project is not just an orphanage that provides food an shelter to the kids until they are old enough to get a job. Instead, EFP functions as a family. The children go to school, do chores around the house, and are sisters to each other. These girls have either been left at orphanages by parents who do not want them or have been taken out of their homes because of abuse. The youngest girl Jenci just turned 2 and the oldest is Ruth who is 26.
EFP equips each girl with an education so that they can go on to serve their country and serve the Lord. One girl is playing soccer at a Bryan College and two others are premed at a school in San Pedro Sula. There are many cost for a family of thirteen and Allison, the director, is hoping to be able to bring more girls home from the government run orphanage soon.
I know what an amazing feeling it is to be able to serve God and to have an impact in the lives of these Hondurans. I want you to be able to experience this as well and we can share this as a family. I would ask that all of you please support these girls in prayer and especially pray while I am down there (December 12-23). Also, if anyone feels lead to participate and support monetarily please let me know and I would love wo have you more involved in the mission that I am a part during this holiday season.
If you want to hear more about previous trips to Honduras or particular plans for this trip please let me know and I will be more than happy to talk with you about what is going on there. Also, I would like everyone to take just a couple minutes and go to www.eternalfamilyproject.org and watch the video that was posted Nov. 4 This shows you Jenci, Michelle, Aracely, Sarai, Paola, Denia, Mariela, Gabriela, Vanessa, Ruth, Sarahi, and Elvira which are the girls that I will be spending most of my time with in December. Thanks for your support!

Dear Karen, What a beautiful heart God has given you. Thank you for posting the photographs. It is reassuring to see these girls looking so healthy and happy. Jerry and I will remember them in prayer and are happy to help. I'll be in touch. Love, Aunt A.
