College...

I have moved in and settled in at Maryville College now. My moving crew consist of Ben, Megan, mom, and dad. They helped me move in last wednesday.

It took me a few days but I feel settled into my new home now, with many pictures of the family and lots of friends from Chattanooga.

I have met so many poeple. Carey-Bill was right when he told me that it will never be this easy to make friends in my life :) I even hosted a game night (apples to apples) in my floor's lounge.

My roommate and I are getting a long great and it seems like it will be a really good year with her (Sara Carmichael). Sam and Will..if you wouldn't mind doing a background check, just in case. Just Kidding! We even got a pet fish!

Maryville is enabling me to overcome many challenges, while at the same time presenting me with new obstacles that through overcoming I will develop my character and impact the lives of others. I am in a group called mountain challenge girls. The other day we had an activity where the goal for every person was to go one more step up the tower than you thought you could. When, I saw the tower I thought it was impossible to reach the top. I was climbing and had got to the point where I was ready to quit. I took that extra step and it helped me make it to the top. And once I reached the top, I was ready to climb higher. That is my goal for Maryville: To climb higher than I ever imagined that I could.

My classes start wednesday and I am already getting into the college mode...I had a cup of coffee today (at 11:00 pm). My Box # here is 2842. Maryville is suc a prtty town and if anyone happens to be driving through near by please let me know! The sunsets right outside my dorm window and it is such a beautiful sight.
