This is a picture of me in front of my new home aquarium. Sara was nice to take this of me when she was visiting recently. The tank is a 54 gallon corner aquarium that fits nicely in the space where my old tank was. I have gone a little more high tech with this tank. I have a canister filter underneath that pumps water from the tank through various media and then back up. I also have bought a hose that hooks to the faucet in the kitchen and I can use it for water changes. It works both ways to syphon old water out and put new water in. I currently just have a gold fish named Bob in the tank to cycle it and help establish a healthy bacteria colony. In a few more weeks, I will return him to my friend Tom's pond. After that I plan to stock the tank with Swordtails, Cory catfish, and finally, Angelfish. Look for more posts about this in the future.

I've never seen a corner tank before. It's really attractive.
The tank looks great and so does its owner.
